Automation Equipment Technician

Join a leading provider of packaging and automation solutions that support pharmacy, e-commerce, and fulfillment operations. As an Automation Equipment Technician , you will build, modify, troubleshoot, and support custom automated machinery used in high-volume production and distribution environments. This is a hands-on role working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment is built to specification and performs reliably.

Pay: $58,000 - $78,000/year (Based on Experience)

Shift: 1st Shift

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM OR Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• (Voluntary overtime available)

• Assemble, retrofit, and support custom automation and packaging equipment.
• Complete change orders and equipment modifications to meet customer requirements.
• Review work orders, parts lists, and production schedules to ensure projects stay on track.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
• Assist with PLC-based equipment testing, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Utilize CAD drawings and documentation to support assembly and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams throughout equipment builds.
• Perform system testing and verification to ensure equipment meets operational requirements.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to quality standards.

• Experience assembling, troubleshooting, or maintaining automated industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of motors, sensors, conveyors, controls, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting or programming is preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
