Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels, coordinating with other disciplines
- Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment to develop, implement, and adjust care plans
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and modify plans to promote safety and healing
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education; ensure continuity of care across transitions
- Delegate duties appropriately and collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, compassionate care environment

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) — Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field
- Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification; hospital or facility-specific BLS as required
- Specialty/Competency: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; ACLS required per policy; EPIC electronic health record experience required within the last 12 months
- Additional: Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting; EPIC backfill experience preferred
