Gastroenterologist | Full-Time

Location: Bluffton, South Carolina

A well-established, nonprofit healthcare organization in the Bluffton, South Carolina area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its growing digestive health program. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities , allowing physicians to build a comprehensive GI practice while performing endoscopic procedures in a collaborative, physician-focused environment.

Position Overview

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal disorders

• Maintain a balanced schedule consisting of inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic care

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy

• Diagnose and manage diseases affecting the digestive tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system

• Collaborate closely with primary care physicians, hospitalists, surgeons, oncologists, and specialty providers

• Utilize an integrated EMR system for timely and accurate clinical documentation

• Participate in shared call coverage within a supportive Gastroenterology team

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

• Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure

• Active or eligible DEA registration

• ERCP and/or EUS experience is welcomed but not required

• Excellent procedural, communication, and patient-centered care skills
