Paving Laborer

Taylor Davis Landscape and Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Paving Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the paving crew with various tasks related to demo, prep, fine grading, and paving of all paving projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist paving crew with the preparation and layout of job sites.
• Can proficiently shovel and rake asphalt.
• Ability to operate a skidsteer as needed for clean up or feeding the paver.
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites as needed.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10
