Global/US Insights & Analytics Director, CVRM - CKD/HF

AstraZeneca seeks a strategic insights and analytics director to lead market research and data-driven decision-making for the chronic kidney disease and heart failure franchise. The role involves synthesizing primary research, real-world data, and competitive intelligence to inform commercial strategy, positioning, and lifecycle planning across global and US markets.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead market research studies across multiple stakeholder groups to generate actionable insights
  • Synthesize research findings into compelling narratives that drive stakeholder alignment and strategic decisions
  • Define, track, and communicate brand performance metrics linked to strategic drivers
  • Partner with data science teams to analyze claims, EMR, and patient-level datasets for behavioral insights
  • Lead commercial assessments and lifecycle management business case development using research and claims analysis

Requirements

  • 8+ years of insights and analytics experience in biopharmaceuticals
  • Demonstrated expertise conducting qualitative and quantitative research with HCPs, patients, and payers
  • Proficiency with secondary data sources including claims, EMR, and analytics platforms
  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen and lateral/vertical influence capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commercial, scientific, or related field
  • Advanced degree (Master's, MBA, or PhD) preferred
