Global/US Insights & Analytics Director, CVRM - Dyslipidemia

AstraZeneca seeks a Global/US Insights & Analytics Director to lead market research and data strategy for a cardiovascular dyslipidemia franchise. The role involves generating actionable insights from patient, physician, and payer research; partnering with cross-functional teams to inform positioning and investment decisions; and translating complex data into executive recommendations across US and global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead primary market research initiatives including segmentations, message testing, and patient identification studies
  • Convert insight gaps into research questions and shape brand positioning with global teams
  • Define KPIs and track brand performance metrics aligned to strategic drivers
  • Leverage claims, EMR, and patient-level data to understand behavior and drive strategy
  • Synthesize research findings and competitive intelligence into clear narratives for senior leadership

Requirements

  • 8+ years of insights and analytics experience in biopharmaceuticals
  • Qualitative and quantitative market research expertise across HCPs, patients, and payers
  • Proficiency with secondary data sources (IQVIA, Symphony, Prognos, claims, EMR datasets)
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen in pharma sales and marketing
  • Ability to influence across organizational levels in matrix environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication and executive storytelling skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commercial, scientific, or related field
