Step into a rewarding role supporting early learners as a Speech Language Pathologist at an elementary school near Katy, TX. This full-time, on-site opportunity is available immediately and runs through June 5, 2027. Your expertise in speech-language pathology will help shape young students’ communication development at a crucial stage. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Texas state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC required)
- Minimum one year of experience working within school environments
- Previous experience with Early Childhood programs or self-contained classrooms is highly valued
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across faculty, staff, and family teams
- Commitment to providing evidence-based interventions and tracking measurable progress
- No educator credential required for this contract position
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services across elementary caseloads, focusing on early childhood learners
- Complete assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administrators to support student growth and inclusion
- Flexibly manage caseload responsibilities across 4–5 days weekly, full-time
- Engage with a variety of learners, ensuring each receives tailored support—particularly those with more complex or self-contained needs
