Storeroom Supervisor First Quality is a family‑owned company that has grown from a small business in McElhattan, Pennsylvania into a group of companies and employs over 5,000 team members. We are seeking a Storeroom Supervisor for our First Quality Tissue SE, LLC located in Anderson, SC. This position will supervise, direct, and coordinate the training and work of all storeroom personnel who maintain parts and materials for the operation of the facility. The supervisor will prepare work schedules, assign work, and oversee the progress of work assignments. They will maintain a high level of inventory accuracy using a computer‑based parts control system and monitor and continuously improve KPIs and work processes. Primary Responsibilities Promote an action‑oriented safety culture, embracing safety as a core value and instilling a safety mindset for all team members. Supervise, direct, coordinate, and train all storeroom personnel. Proactively and regularly develop and manage team members’ performance and capabilities. Allocate resources appropriately to meet operational needs, including scheduling crews and managing absences. Share knowledge with team members to promote a high skill level in the group. Perform inventory control functions using best material management practices. Monitor KPIs and develop/implement strategies to ensure goals are met or exceeded. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve storeroom‑specific policies and procedures. Ensure organization and cleanliness of stores and safe storage of all stocked parts and materials. Ensure outbound shipments processed through the storeroom function are properly documented. Track and maintain warranty parts and the status of application of warranty parts. Create and approve requisitions for necessary parts and supplies within EAM and SAP applications. Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years of supervisory experience required. At least 5 years of inventory management experience required. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a team‑based environment. Familiarity with CMMS such as MP2, SAP, and/or EAM preferred. Advanced computer skills and proficiency with MS Office. Ability to work a flexible schedule with little notice. Physical Demands and Travel Frequent standing/walking. Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, and reaching overhead. Occasional pushing and pulling with arms, legs, and body. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Frequent repetitive use of hands. Occasional simple/light firm/strong grasping with the hands. Some travel to repair shops and/or other sites.
