Mechanical Assembler

Aerotek is hiring mechanical assemblers for 1st shift! Assemblers will be responsible for team mechanical assembly of various railroad repair equipment and machines. Compensation ranges up to $22/hr based on skill-level and experience!

Job Description:

• Follow a build sheet and/or blueprints to perform assemblies

• Utilize various hand and power tools to secure assemblies

• Inspect and troubleshoot any malfunctions with the equipment

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years of mechanical assembly or mechanic experience

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consecutively

• 2 years of reading and interpreting blueprint experience

Shift Schedule:

1st shift

Monday - Friday

6am - 2:30pm

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RACINE, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
