Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN Responsibilities: Provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general units, including monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, assisting with cardiac procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Maintain patient safety, document assessments, educate patients on cardiac health, and follow safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills: One year of recent Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS. Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Must have physical ability to move equipment and patients, and mental resilience to work under pressure. Key Duties: Monitor telemetry data, respond to emergencies, prepare equipment, record patient conditions, and perform related duties within scope of practice. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety and infection control standards.
