Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Postpartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, IV certification Must-Have: IV start skills and labor & delivery experience EPIC experience Description: Schedule may float to similar acuity units. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of postpartum experience. The candidate must be certified in BLS and possess IV certification. IV start skills and labor & delivery experience are essential. Experience with the EPIC charting system is preferred. Previous travel nursing experience is advantageous. The position involves caring for postpartum patients, including those who have had vaginal and cesarean deliveries. The unit provides family-centered care to women and infants. Daily patient census is approximately 60. Special procedures may include telemetry interpretation, requiring the RN to pass an EKG exam prior to starting. Candidates must be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process necessary for compliance. The role may require floating to different units as needed. Two professional references are required, one of which must be from a manager or someone in a leadership position.
