Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, IV Certification Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience - IV start skills and labor & delivery experience - EPIC experience Description: This position involves providing care to postpartum patients and their newborns. The ideal candidate will float to units with similar acuity as needed. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients, and providing education. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team setting. Additional skills such as patient assessment and neonatal care are required. The unit provides family-centered care to women and infants. A telemetry interpretation certification or capability is also required. The position requires occasional on-call duty and weekend coverage. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Documentation and charting are essential responsibilities associated with this role. A focus on quality patient care is fundamental to the position.
