About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required. License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS CPI Must-Have: Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred. Comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications are required. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable with triage and have skills in dysrhythmia interpretation. Experience administering emergency medications, procedural sedation, and caring for ventilated patients is essential. Familiarity with trauma cases, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care is highly valued. Staffing ratios are expected to be 1 nurse to 3.5 patients. Flexibility for weekends and potential floating may be required. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
