About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Postpartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience License: Valid nursing license in hand at the time of submission Certifications: BLS, IV certification Must-Have: EPIC experience, IV start skills, labor and delivery experience Description: Schedule may float to a unit with similar acuity. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of postpartum experience. BLS and IV certification are mandatory. Candidates must have IV start skills and labor and delivery experience. Experience with EPIC charting is preferred. Additional skills required include administration of medications, patient assessment, and care coordination. Responsibilities include providing family-centered care to postpartum patients and newborns. The unit supports a diverse patient population, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Candidates must be comfortable floating to different units as needed. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Please ensure all references are provided.
