About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Postpartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, IV certification required Must-Have: Previous labor & delivery experience EPIC experience required Telemetry interpretation required Description: Schedule may require floating to units with similar acuity. Responsibilities include providing family-centered care to postpartum patients. Experience required in the administration of blood products and IV medications. Must be adept in breastfeeding education and newborn assessments. Provide discharge teaching and care for both mother and infant. Handle complications such as postpartum hemorrhage and preeclampsia. Expected to maintain current knowledge in infant care practices. Must demonstrate proficiency in IV start skills and telemetry interpretation. Ability to interact effectively with interdisciplinary teams is essential. Two professional references required, including one from a managerial role.
