MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing MRI scans and working with various imaging studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI scans, including stroke and trauma imaging.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, including GE 3T, GE 1.5T, and Siemens 1.5T scanners.
• Start IVs as necessary for imaging procedures.
• Efficiently manage an average of 10 scans/studies per day.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize EPIC and Fuji Synapse for electronic medical records and image storage.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT MR) is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI technology is preferred.
• Strong skills in patient interaction and comfort.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Schedule

This position involves a schedule of Thursday through Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Full orientation will be provided, and clinicians must be present for the entire week of orientation, including any remote learning modules.

Additional Information

• The department has three MRI scanners/rooms.
• This is an outpatient MRI environment.
• Radiologists are available in-house.
• Clinical staff must comply with the dress code, which requires black scrubs.
• Department-specific orientation will be provided.
