Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Behavioral Specialist in School Setting | Near Claymont, Delaware:
Bring your expertise in behavioral analysis to a vibrant school setting, supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as a valued Behavior Specialist. This onsite contract opportunity is ideal for those who are passionate about making a tangible difference in students’ lives and thrive on collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. You’ll have the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 50-60 students, creating positive changes across elementary, middle, and high school environments.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required
- Experience working collaboratively in school-based settings with varied age groups (Pre-K–12)
- Strong communication and consultation skills with teachers, students, and families
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective behavior intervention plans
- Flexible and adept at managing a caseload of 50-60 students with diverse behavioral needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and provide actionable recommendations
- Develop and monitor individualized behavior intervention strategies
- Collaborate closely with school staff to promote positive student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and professional training
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reporting
