Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Enhance student outcomes and positively impact school communities in this onsite Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role supporting schools near Wilmington, DE. This contract position begins in late August 2026 and runs through early June 2027, with full-time weekday hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Delaware BCBA certification (required; must be presented with your resume)
- Previous experience working in school settings as a BCBA
- Strong skills in functional behavior assessment, intervention planning, and staff consultation
- Familiarity with interviewing and supporting paraprofessional staff
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide BCBA services across two to three assigned school sites throughout the academic year
- Develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct interviews to assess and select paraprofessionals suited to each site’s needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address classroom management and student behavior challenges
- Maintain accurate records related to assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring
- Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis and participate in professional development
You'll be working on a Monday through Friday, school day schedule for a total of 37.5 hours weekly, allowing you to focus on making a sustained impact over the course of the school year.
