Supports schools and departments in attracting and hiring qualified candidates while maintaining an organized, responsive, and effective hiring experience. This role is intended to provide clear ownership of the hiring pipeline , rather than distributing recruiting work informally across unrelated roles. Typical First Contact For Vacancies and staffing requests Posting and recruitment process questions Hiring process coordination Candidate pipeline concerns Recruiting events or outreach efforts Hard-to-fill hiring support Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring Process Leadership Oversee the district's recruitment and hiring processes from request through onboarding handoff Ensure hiring workflows are followed consistently across schools and departments Manage position postings, candidate movement, and overall hiring process coordination Support timely and organized movement of candidates through the hiring pipeline Ensure hiring leaders understand where their role begins and ends within the hiring process Support coordination of internal transfer and promotion processes, ensuring appropriate alignment with HR Operations and HRBP where workforce planning or employee relations context is present Talent Pipeline & Recruiting Strategy Support sourcing and recruiting efforts for district positions Help identify strategies for hard-to-fill roles and priority staffing needs Coordinate or support recruiting events, outreach efforts, and job fairs Maintain visibility into hiring trends, vacancies, and recruiting needs across the district Leader Support in Hiring Support principals, supervisors, and department leaders throughout the hiring process Help leaders navigate timelines, process steps, and candidate movement Ensure leaders understand their role in interviews, selection, and final hiring decisions Team Leadership & Coordination Supervise Talent Acquisition staff and support effective workload distribution Ensure strong coordination with HR Operations and HR School Partners as needed Support onboarding handoff and hiring-related internal communication Help ensure the hiring process moves clearly from staffing need to employee start Process Improvement & Candidate Experience Help improve hiring systems, communication, and overall candidate experience Identify workflow gaps, bottlenecks, or process improvements related to recruiting and hiring Support a hiring experience that is clear, timely, and professional for candidates and leaders *Other duties as assigned Key Decisions This Role Typically Influences How hiring workflows should move and be coordinated When recruiting support should be intensified for hard-to-fill roles How candidate movement and communication should be handled When staffing requests are ready to move forward through the hiring process How hiring process consistency should be maintained district-wide Scope of Responsibility Oversees district-wide recruitment and hiring coordination Supervises Talent Acquisition staff Supports hiring activity across schools, departments, and district functions Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR operations Experience coordinating or managing hiring processes Preferred Qualifications Experience in K 12 education, public sector hiring, or a multi-site organization Experience supervising staff or leading recruitment efforts Familiarity with hiring systems, applicant tracking, or position management workflows Key Competencies Strategic thinking and recruitment planning skills Ability to build effective working relationships with partners and direct reports Organization and process management Strong communication and responsiveness Ability to manage timelines and competing priorities Customer service and candidate experience mindset Problem-solving and follow-through Ability to read and apply district compensation policy and salary placement matrix Clearances: Candidate must be fingerprinted and clear a criminal background check.
