Screw Machine Operator

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in precision components, is seeking a Screw Machine Operator to join their team. As a Screw Machine Operator, you will be part of the Screw Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Screw Machine Operator

Location: Hamilton, OH

Pay Range: $21/hr

Shift: 1st shift hours: 5:45am - 3:45pm (MON-THUR / overtime possible on Fridays)

What's the Job?

Perform machine setup and operation of Acme and Davenport screw machines
Load bar stock, fill fluids, and remove chips from machines to ensure smooth operation
Adjust tooling, sharpen tools, and perform tool changes to meet quality specifications
Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production
Assist colleagues with troubleshooting, maintenance, and training activities

What's Needed?

Relevant work experience in machine operation, maintenance, or related trades
Ability to perform standard math calculations for machine adjustments
Mechanical aptitude with tools and machinery
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
Team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn and grow
