About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Actuarial Financial Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the valuation and financial reporting of the variable annuities blocks of business. This includes the calculation of US GAAP, Statutory, and Tax reserve balances, as well as conducting annual impact testing for potential assumption changes. The role requires a professional with a solid background in actuarial science, particularly in the area of variable annuities products, and a strong understanding of the associated financial and regulatory requirements. Applicants for this role at The Company should be FSA with a minimum of 10 years' actuarial experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar position, with a focus on variable annuities, and possess previous management experience. Excellent communication, technical, and analytical skills are essential for this leadership role. The position is suited to a candidate who is adept at working with complex financial data, is detail-oriented, and can effectively manage a team to ensure the accuracy and compliance of all financial reporting activities.
