Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to support daily production operations in a fast-paced shop environment. This role is responsible for preparing finished components, operating basic shop equipment, cutting materials to specifications, inspecting parts for quality, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.

Job Description

• Hand deburrs, cleans, and prepares finished components for shipment.
• Load and unload parts from media blasting equipment.
• Inspect parts to ensure proper finish and quality standards are met.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and stocking of raw materials and finished goods
• Load and unload material from delivery trucks using a forklift
• Cut bar stock and other materials to specified dimensions according to work orders and blueprints
• Operate band saws and other shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Set up and adjust saw cutting speeds and feeds based on material type and size
• Maintain coolant levels and replace saw blades as needed.
• Mark, tag, and identify materials according to job documentation and inventory requirements
• Assist with inventory control and organization of raw material storage areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support production and assist other departments as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Have previous manufacturing or machine shop experience (preferred, but not required), as the client is willing to train someone with the right attitude and mechanical aptitude.

Skills Required

• Manufacturing Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)
• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools (preferred)
• Experience operating band saws, forklifts, and basic shop machinery is a plus
• Must be able to lift to 75 lbs.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Additional Requirements

• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
• Work Hours:
  • Mon to Fri, 6:00am - 5:00pm;  8-10-hour shift, depending on workload
  • OT and occasional weekend work as required
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Pay Rate/Salary

• $18-$22/hr depending on experience. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
