Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol X Ray Screening in Ellenwood, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and professionalism. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols at a logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, building interiors, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitor, and vehicle entry in accordance with site‑specific policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Document patrols, observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and promptly in required reports or electronic reporting systems. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. X‑ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
