Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Screening in Ellenwood, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe activity, report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, trailer yards, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required. Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
