The successful candidate will be a seasoned, systems-minded fundraising executive with a proven track record in major and comprehensive campaigns, and experience in cultivating transformational gifts. As the senior executive responsible for all philanthropic activities, the CDO will shape and advance the vision, strategy, and performance of the development function, ensuring a unified, high-performing approach that drives transformational giving and strengthens donor relationships. This role is pivotal in the organization's mission to advance clinical innovation, academic excellence, and research, and the ideal candidate will be a key ambassador for the company's mission, forging meaningful engagement with donors, community partners, and civic leaders. The CDO will work closely with executive leadership to align philanthropy and grant strategies with the company's priorities and long-term goals. They will be expected to enhance operational discipline, team capacity, and enterprise infrastructure to scale philanthropic growth, and to lead the organization in maturing its development function and broadening its donor base. While healthcare philanthropy experience is preferred, candidates with diverse fundraising backgrounds and a history of driving significant revenue growth in mission-driven organizations are encouraged to apply.
