Sr Data Scientist
Duration: 4 months (contract to hire based on performance) Location: 100% remote, candidate must be on the East coast. Client location is Palm Beach, FL. Visa: Only U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders. Apexon / End Client: Nextera Energy (ParentCo of Florida Power and Light) $70/hr on C2C
Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, specifically in developing predictive models using Python or similar.
- Proven experience utilizing AWS services in a data science or analytics capacity.
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Experience in NLP is must.
- Strong experience in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and completing data projects from inception to implementation.
