As a Project Manager II, you will manage projects of moderate visibility and complexity, either overseeing multiple projects or one larger project. Under the supervision of a portfolio or program manager, you will ensure the successful completion of projects by assembling teams, assigning responsibilities, and managing resources.**Responsibilities:*** Manage multiple projects or a larger project, overseeing all phases from proposal development to project closeout.* Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and identify appropriate resources.* Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.* Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.* Communicate project status with senior project managers, functional area managers, or program managers.* Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators.* Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.* Ensure timely completion of projects by developing and adhering to schedules.* Remain agile and flexible to adapt to frequent changes in project requirements or scope.**Qualifications You Must Have:*** Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.* 4+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field.* Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.* Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules.* Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.* **Current Active Secret US Security Clearance****Qualifications We Prefer:*** Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.* Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management.* Experience with risk management planning and documentation.* Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution.* Experience in resource planning and management during project execution.* Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles.* Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards.* Familiarity with government contracting and regulations. **Essential Functions:*** Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to travel as required.* Capacity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.**IMPORTANT NOTICE:**This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
