Associate Attorney

Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Associate Attorney located in Stamford, Connecticut. This role will allow you to continue building your exposure and experience within trusts and estates administration and planning. In this position, the attorney will develop, draft and implement estate plans of varying levels of complexity. A keen understanding and background in working with clients in the administration of estates and trusts is required. This role will deal with working with high net‑worth individuals in the design and drafting of their estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. Qualifications Possess 1‑4 years experience with trusts and estate planning and administration. This includes experience in estates, gift & generation‑skipping transfer tax planning, including drafting, reviewing sophisticated estate planning documents. Possess excellent communication skills (written and oral). Be motivated and must have the ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with the ability to handle matters independently. Be licensed to practice in CT. NOTE: Candidates without CT bar will be required to sit for the bar exam. Admission in NY is a plus. Ideally have an LLM in tax‑related discipline.
