As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.60 / Hour Job Schedule Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and communicate professionally with occupants regarding property rules and security-related matters. Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by observing for maintenance issues, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations, and escalating concerns through appropriate channels. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
