Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver (City Of Industry, CA) Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next—its all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or delivery access in accordance with site protocols, and report security‑related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish. Must have at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
