Role Description The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Houston, TX, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The BCBA will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and provide ongoing data-driven analysis to guide treatment. Day-to-day tasks include supervising and training behavior technicians, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, and delivering direct services and parent/caregiver education in home, school, and community settings. The BCBA will monitor progress, adjust interventions for effectiveness, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and ensure compliance with clinical and ethical standards. The role also involves participating in care coordination, supporting crisis intervention efforts, and contributing to program development aligned with H.E.M.Y.S. mission and core values. Qualifications Strong foundation in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, with the ability to design and implement evidence-based interventions. Knowledge of Psychology and Behavior Management to address a wide range of behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs. Skills in Parent Education, including coaching caregivers on behavior support strategies in home, school, and community settings. Current BCBA certification and licensure (or eligibility) as required by the state of Texas. Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in community-based or mental health settings. Ability to collect, interpret, and present behavioral data, and to adjust treatment plans based on outcomes. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with comfort working in an interdisciplinary team. Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and non-discriminatory practice. Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
