As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher working with children ages 3-5, you'll play a key role in cultivating cognitive, social, emotional, communicative, and physical skills through individualized interventions. This contract position is located near Saint Paul, MN, and emphasizes a small-class model with intensive support, ensuring each child receives the attention and care they deserve.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Early Childhood Special Education licensure (required)
• Experience or strong interest in serving young children (ages 3-5) with disabilities in a school setting
• Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong assessment and observational skills for eligibility, goal-setting, and instructional planning
• Ability to collaborate with families, teachers, and service providers for holistic student support
• Experience guiding or supporting paraprofessionals in the classroom
• Solid foundation in positive behavior support and social-emotional learning strategies

What you'll do:

• Design, implement, and review IEPs tailored to individual preschoolers’ strengths and needs
• Deliver interventions through daily routines and play-based activities in smaller class settings
• Maintain detailed progress documentation and assessment records
• Foster partnerships with parents and colleagues to align services and maximize student growth
• Use evidence-based practices to promote engagement and foundational learning
• Provide ongoing guidance and collaboration with classroom paraprofessionals
