Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in special education programs near Minneapolis, MN during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to work onsite, collaborating with a dedicated team to provide individualized support and create an inclusive learning environment. There are three positions available, each focusing on specialized programs catering to a range of age levels and needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (Tier 3 or 4 license required)
• Experience with special education settings and differentiated instructional methods
• Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability when supporting students across different age groups and needs

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
• Deliver engaging lessons and activities that support cognitive, behavioral, and social development
• Use data-driven assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
• Comply with district, state, and federal regulations for special education services

Schedule & Environment:

• Full-time, onsite position (hard no to virtual placements)
• School-year contract: August 17, 2026 to May 28, 2027 (35 hours per week)
• Work closely with students in special education programs across various grade levels
