Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a real difference in the early years of education as a Special Education Teacher for preschool-aged children. This contract opportunity focuses on serving children ages 3-5 in a center-based Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) setting, providing essential support during some of the most formative years of development. You’ll work in an engaging, play-based environment that tailors learning and interventions to each child’s unique needs, helping set the stage for lifelong learning.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensure in Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or related field (required or eligible)
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a school or early childhood setting
• Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to conduct developmental assessments and observations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of positive behavior supports and social-emotional learning techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for preschool children with diverse disabilities
• Track student progress and participate in ongoing evaluations and goal-setting
• Deliver intervention services through play and routine-based activities in smaller classes with intensive, hands-on support
• Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and service providers to maximize student success
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to paraprofessional staff
• Foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment using evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional strategies

This position follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, leading morning and afternoon classes within a welcoming elementary setting.
