The shipping clerk position will report to the Shipping Supervisor and plays a crucial role in maintaining and managing our assets in areas including Equipment and Controls, Operating Supplies, and Inventory Control. Will also contribute to continuous improvement in the organization. Join our NCH team, as an shipping clerk, where our future begins with you.Main Job Function: Preparing and Loading trucks for shipmentJob Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:Prepare various loads to be shippedOperate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessaryFreight check shipmentsInventory and cycle countMust be able to work with computer in all aspects of inventory, order processing system, e-mail, other computer related functions and typingAble and willing to work in any area of the departmentCommunicate with Transportation and other DepartmentsOther warehouse activities as management deems necessaryMust be very detail oriented and accuratePosition Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsOracle, Clear Orbits and precision knowledge preferredHeavy lifting required: handle drums up to 400lbs. and lifting up to 70 lbs.Ability to handle ever changing, multiple prioritiesTeam playerAbility to work overtime when required (especially Fridays)High school diploma/GEDWillingness to work overtimeIn return for your talent, we offer: outstanding benefits including 401(K) with matching funds, major medical, dental, vision, life, long and short term disability.
