Job/Project Overview: New project they are supporting (stock plan services project). This same project for the technical BA we worked has a need for QA. They would like to see if they can manage automation and manual testing. The resource will support this project and other BAU work, and possibly other future projects. This team handles all fee estimation work for their stock plan services work. So, financial services exp is a plus. Looking for someone with good knowledge on Co-Pilot, BDD framework, and ability to work in Agile environment. They will work with Selenium BDD and Rest API, SQL query/scripting (for data mining), Java, React, and Python (code they are testing) is a plus. This team will cover batch testing, XML files, UI validation, and API validations. They need a basic knowledge of Java/Python and will need to do some SQL queries to dig data out of DB. This candidate will need strong knowledge on full SDLC (planning/execution). The team just initiated Selenium automation in their testing environment. The members of the team were not automation focused so they got trained up as Empower has shifted their focus to automation so they have been making more initiatives moving to automation. Empower hopes that this person will be able to provide value on the automation experience for the team. They use JIRA to manage their workflow and run in standard Agile. Daily standups. Batch processing is by Autosys, with Spring Batch testing for Spring APIs on AWS platform.
Team Structure : Mix of BA, multiple Developers and QA people. There are 4 QA people on team currently. They train to match up on even ratio and all report back to Udaya.
