Quality Assurance Technician

Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures. Performing routine inspections and quality tests. Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues. Developing quality standards, conducting tests, and identifying issues in the production of our products or services. Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed. Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors. Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports. Make recommendations for improvement. Create training materials and operating manuals. Exhibits thoroughness and consistency when conducting quality control, testing, and audits. Is proactive in non-conformance prevention and maintains a desire to help the organization to consistently achieve high quality and service expectations. The overall job performance meets the satisfaction of the Quality Control Supervisor/Management Representative. Assists with nonconformance Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Assists in updating RMAs in the ERP system when requested by a manager. Attends scheduled meetings and training sessions as needed to support quality control activities and employee development. Although no positions answer directly to the Quality Technician, it is incumbent upon this position to cultivate and ensure effective relationships and communications with all departments within Resource Label Group to ensure the highest level of technical service is achieved.
