Facility: Via Christi Hospital St. Francis

Schedule: Day Shift | Full-Time, 40 hours weekly, 6:00am-2:30pm, rotating weekends

How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Safely transport patients—including those requiring oxygen tanks, IV pumps, and other equipment—throughout the facility using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds.
• Assist patients with safe transfers, including entering/exiting vehicles and moving between mobility devices.
• Efficiently deliver equipment and specimens to requesting staff and departments.
• Provide compassionate assistance to clinical staff with the removal and transport of deceased bodies to the morgue.
• Act as a welcoming point of contact by greeting, directing, and providing information to patients and visitors.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
