Trade Marketing Representative (Modesto, CA)

As a Trade Marketing Representative , you play a key role in driving sales growth across your territory. You’ll do this by delivering tailored sales and merchandising programs directly in-store, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

This is a field-based role , where you manage retail accounts, build strong relationships, and ensure our products stand out through effective placement, promotions, and engagement. You’ll travel regularly (25–75%) and stay close to the market—analyzing sales data, managing stock and orders, negotiating agreements, and keeping an eye on competitors and trends.

Location: ideal locations for the candidates to reside in: Modesto , Ceres , Turlock or Merced .

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prioritize store visits using sales data and customer importance.

• Execute marketing programs, negotiate volume agreements, and ensure product placement aligns with planograms.

• Provide strategic insights, track competitor activity, and guide retailers on tobacco category management.

• Maintain merchandising standards and support with inventory management when needed.

• Record and evaluate performance using internal tools like Synergy

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (post-secondary education preferred)

• 3+ years of experience in FMCG sales (preferred) however recent graduates are also welcome to apply

• Strong communication, selling, and analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Synergy is a plus

• Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs, climb ladders, and install signage
