Marketing Specialist

What You’ll Do Our client is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join their team. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for Marketing and Advertising, Trade Shows, Market Research, and Sales Support for the NAFTA region, along with up to 20% domestic and international travel. Location Raleigh, NC Position Type Permanent Responsibilities Marketing and Advertising Identifies the optimal brand strategy for products in the North American market. Creates and executes a plan to communicate the brand to potential and existing customers using both conventional and digital marketing tools. Plans, documents, and coordinates the marketing of products and technology for North America, coordinating with the Marketing group in Germany. Develops an annual North American marketing budget and manages activities within budget limits. Manages relations with advertisers, local associations, and industry organizations. Manages North American-based corporate social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn). Coordinates internal news articles for North America. Proofreads English translations of German documents for readability prior to distribution. Responsible for the look and feel of U.S. locations with the Office Admin. Manages and executes internal company events. Facilitates the North American Customer Satisfaction Survey process. Trade Shows Manages the selection and preparation of trade shows in North America, coordinating internal activities and liaison with Corporate Communications in Germany. Develops and maintains company PowerPoint and other presentation materials. Develops and maintains marketing displays, sample products, and trade show booth. Manages pre‑ and post‑trade show activities. Market Research and Sales Support Facilitates the creation of North American Strategy Papers and coordinates market research per company strategy, involving Program Management in Germany. Coordinates internal research and manages contacts with external market research firms. Analyzes forecast data and provides summaries to Key Account Managers using IHS and other market information. Supports Key Account Managers with plausibility studies based on the database. Stays up-to-date on market trends and emerging markets, providing summaries to management and sales teams. Understands higher-level corporate long‑range plans and ensures they are followed; takes on other tasks as directed by Management. Required Qualifications Four‑year business or technical degree. Experience in automotive, pharmaceutical, aviation, or industrial industry. Experience in a multi‑national matrix organization and balancing stakeholders’ requirements. Strong computer and data analysis skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and marketing databases (e.g., IHS); experience with SAP or Oracle. Strong organizational skills. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to set and maintain a correct image representing the company. Team player with the ability to interface at all organizational layers.
