Service Manager

Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental . We currently have an opportunity available for a motivated, career oriented SERVICE MANAGER at our Albuquerque, NM location.

OBJECTIVE:
This position assures that our equipment is properly serviced, repaired and maintained to provide complete customer satisfaction, maximize the branch productivity and insure a safe, productive work environment for our employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and supervise all parts and service department personnel for best quality and efficiency according to knowledge and proficiency.
• Interact with the rental and parts department to insure adequate inventory to support all repairs and sale of parts.
• Interact with the rental department to insure proper scheduling of repair work of rental equipment according to urgency. Interact with sales department to provide fast service of new equipment sold to customers.
• Supervise scheduling of repair work for customers according to priority and review work orders for accuracy and profitability.
• Employee training and development.
• Receive purchase orders, file warranty claims and paperwork. Negotiate with vendors to achieve the lowest pricing available. Maintain service records.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• 1 - 3 years experience in a Service Management position preferably in the construction equipment or rental industry.
• Strong management, motivational and leadership capabilities.
• Strong mechanical background, with knowledge of gas and diesel engines, electrical & hydraulic systems.
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
