Patient Services Representative (PSR) ? Urban Health Plan 2026 Typical Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner. Schedule appointments and reschedule no shows appointments Verify insurance information through managed care website. Register patients, assigned PCP (when applicable), check and maintain accurate demographic information, updates information as. Answer incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries and take messages for providers. Collect co-pays and process payments as needed. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Helps to maintain charts and provide administrative support to the department. Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1 year of experience in clerical/administrative functions required: medical office, or healthcare ideally. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish required Starting Compensation $ 19.50 per hour based on 40 hours per week ($40,560 annualized). Schedule Requirements This is an on-site position for any of our health center locations. Candidates must have flexibility to work a 5-day during the week, which may include: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM with rotating Saturdays (8am to 5pm). When scheduled to work a Saturday, employees will receive a day off during the week.
