Role Description
Donatos is seeking a detail-oriented Benefits / Total Rewards Specialist to support the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs across our multi-location restaurant organization.
This role is ideal for a professional who values consistency, process excellence, and delivering strong internal customer service. The position offers hybrid flexibility and the opportunity to support a stable, family-owned company rooted in the Columbus community.
Responsibilities
Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement benefit programs
Coordinate annual open enrollment, including communications and system updates
Serve as primary contact for employee benefit inquiries
Process benefit elections, life events, and qualifying status changes
Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and FMLA requirements
Maintain accurate HRIS data and generate regular reports
Support compensation reporting and pay-related data analysis
Assist with vendor communication and benefit issue resolution
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in benefits or total rewards administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data review, reporting, lookups)
- Experience in hospitality or multi-location environments preferred
- Proficiency in Benefits Administration and familiarity with the U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Knowledge of various Insurance plans and their administration
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with benefits management software and systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
