Responsibilities

• Develop, formulate, and optimize rubber compounds for manufacturing applications.
• Lead the transition and growth of in-house rubber mixing operations.
• Evaluate raw materials and recommend formulations based on product performance and customer requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in rubber processing, mixing, curing, and material performance.
• Troubleshoot compound and processing issues to improve quality, consistency, and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to support new and existing products.
• Conduct testing and analyze data to validate formulations and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain formulation records, technical documentation, and material specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in rubber compounding, formulation, or rubber manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of elastomer chemistry, rubber compounds, fillers, curing systems, and additives.
• Experience with rubber mixing, processing, and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and production challenges in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting product development and continuous process improvement is highly preferred.
