Compensation

• Base Salary: Up to $160,000
• Additional Performance-Based Compensation: Expected to be $20,000-$35,000+ in Year One

The Role

This attorney will help manage a caseload of approximately 50 active employment litigation matters and will work closely with firm leadership throughout all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing cases from inception through resolution
• Drafting complaints, motions, and other litigation documents
• Conducting legal research and writing
• Communicating directly with clients
• Attending court conferences and litigation proceedings
• Assisting with case strategy and progression
• Participating in client intake and new matter evaluation
• Working collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted and in good standing in New York
• Approximately 2-5+ years of litigation experience
• Employment law experience preferred, but not required
• Strong legal writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to take ownership of cases
• Desire to build a long-term career in employment litigation
