Minimum Experience Requirements for Residential Service Electrician 5+ years of experience in residential electrical service work Strong background in troubleshooting and repairing residential electrical systems Experience working directly in occupied homes and with homeowners Additional Requirements and/or Expectations for Service Electrician Applicants must possess High School diploma or GED. Position Overview for Residential Service Electrician Specific job duties/responsibilities include the following: Diagnose and repair electrical issues in residential homes Install, maintain, and upgrade residential electrical systems (panels, wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, etc.) Perform detailed troubleshooting and provide effective solutions Ability to handle service contracts, work orders, change orders, and billings Daily, weekly, and/or monthly reporting as requested by the department manager Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment in customers’ homes Additional duties may be assigned from time to time by the department manager Above all, the Residential Service Electrician will be expected to fully embrace the Fountain Electric culture and represent our company and its values to our customers and the public.
