Position Overview We are excited to welcome a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our dedicated team of imaging specialists. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to deliver clarity, support your colleagues, and provide peace of mind to patients through prompt and precise imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, which may include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure comfort and safety for every patient during procedures, explaining each phase with compassion and transparency
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring issues are reported immediately
- Diligently record procedures and manage patient records within our electronic medical system
- Keep informed on the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practice standards
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
