Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities
  • Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, which may include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Ensure comfort and safety for every patient during procedures, explaining each phase with compassion and transparency
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring issues are reported immediately
  • Diligently record procedures and manage patient records within our electronic medical system
  • Keep informed on the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practice standards
Education Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
Skills Needed
  • Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Aptitude for working autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
