General Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) We are seeking a General Surgery Physician Assistant (PA‑C) to join a dynamic and highly collaborative surgical team that values teamwork, flexibility, and professional growth. The Opportunity This is a full‑time, 40‑hour position in a fast‑paced but highly supportive surgical environment. The practice includes four surgeons and one PA, offering strong collaboration and a true team‑based model of care. Your Schedule & Structure Full‑time, 40 hours per week 1 weekend of rounding required (no call during weekend coverage) Primarily inpatient floor‑based work with consults (~8 per day) Flexible and predictable scheduling environment Strong team support to promote work‑life balance What Your Day Will Look Like Managing post‑operative and surgical patients throughout their care journey Completing inpatient consults and rounding on surgical patients Collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and APP colleagues Supporting clinical decision‑making in a fast‑paced surgical setting Opportunity to scrub in with surgeons if interested Opportunity to teach and supervise residents in an academic‑supported environment Why UM BWMC?
