You thrive on working within deadlines and providing strong financial reporting for your assigned properties. You identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports and continually seek opportunities for process improvements. You also thrive on sharing your knowledge and participate in training for new accountants. Responsibilities Successfully complete monthly reporting and assist your Accounting Manager in audit processes. Successfully coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow. Oversee the accuracy and productivity of all property management accounting and financial activities. Ensure all accounting reporting and scheduled check runs are accurate and all deadlines are met. What you’ll bring A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA designation is an asset. Minimum of 4 years of progressive property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry. Demonstrated ability to work with computer applications, including Excel, Word & MRI. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Third Party Management Experience. Location Area/Location Specific: Remote/East Coast Salary Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $80,500 to $84,000 Benefits Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 sick days and a minimum of 15 vacation days annually. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. Employees may also be permitted up to 4-12 weeks of paid parental leave depending on eligibility criteria. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law. Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
