Make a meaningful impact supporting the wellbeing of elementary students as a contract social worker in a vibrant educational environment. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators to help students in grades K-4 within emotional support settings. Work closely with children, families, and school staff to foster students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional growth, all while developing your professional skills in a supportive community.

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Valid licensure as a school social worker, with current credentials aligned with Pennsylvania requirements
• Demonstrated experience supporting elementary students, especially those receiving emotional support services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• A compassionate, student-centered approach to empowerment and advocacy
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain meticulous documentation as required for school settings
• Flexibility and problem-solving ability in a dynamic day-to-day school environment

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct social-emotional support and interventions to students in grades K-4
• Conducting individual and small-group counseling for students with emotional and behavioral needs
• Collaborating with teachers and school teams to develop and monitor individualized student support plans
• Serving as a resource for families and connecting them to community-based supports as needed
• Documenting services, preparing progress reports, and contributing to IEP meetings as appropriate
• Promoting an inclusive, positive school culture through advocacy, outreach, and staff collaboration
